top 5 ADMISSION 2010-2 CONTEST

The Rector of the UNI, Dr. Aurelio Padilla Rios, presented to the top 5 Admission Competition 2010-2 National University of Engineering ( UNI), a process that this time offered 615 vacancies.

First Place, Angel Javier Ortega Obregón, Specialty Systems,
score 17,065.

Second Place, Renzo Jerrsy Vilca Quico, Specialty Electronics

Third Place, Abel Arturo Bejarano Higa, Specialty Systems,

Fourth Place, Isau Michel Roque Sevilla, Specialty Electronics Engineering, score 16,157. Fifth Place

Contest Admission UNI surrendered three dates 09, 11 and 13 August. The first evaluation consisted of Academic Aptitude and General Knowledge, the second of Mathematics and the third and final test corresponded to Physics and Chemistry. UNI has

increased its academic offerings in 27 areas of Engineering, Science and Architecture. The most sought after careers in the academic competence on the part of applicants, are Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
The Rector of the UNI, Dr. Aurelio Padilla Rios, said that this year the number of applicants increased by 12 percent over 2009 -2. Since 5179 this time applicants submitted to the Admissions Contest 2010 -2.
However, this time keeping the ratio of 82 percent of applicants men and 18 percent of women.
also recorded the same proportion as to applicants from state schools, which represent 60 percent of the total, while 40 percent comes from private schools.
As to the place of origin of applicants, 65 percent live in Lima and Callao, while the rest comes from within the country, mostly in the regions of Junin, Ancash and Huanuco.
The university authorities have reported that the applicants as mechatronics engineering career path, that there is a competition of 26 applicants for each vacancy.
